The Karaoke Guy

 

Click and music fills the room,

People stop as the Karaoke Guy sings,

Listening, curiously as the song is sung,

With a state of awe, the applause rings.

 

The Karaoke Guy entertains and enjoys each moment,

Making it fun for all he knows,

Working the room no matter the few

Painting smiling faces as he goes.

 

He knows his job and he does it well

Bringing out the good and the fun in all,

Making even the shiest quiet mouse

Feel like Cinderella ~ Queen of the ball.

 

He makes sure people are happy and having fun,

He strokes egos and even flirts with some,

The Karaoke Guy is sure to include everyone,

Because it’s one for all, and All 4 One.

Barry,

    This is just a note to tell you how Ted did at our wedding .  He told us that it was his first outdoor karaoke event . Well , he did GREAT . He played a great selection of music that got everyone up to dance . I don’t think there was really anytime that the dance floor was empty . We had two kids there , a 5 and a 3 year old , and Ted got the two of them up and showed them how to do the bird dance . They thought that was great . And he even did the Russian kick dance with one of the other guests .  Everyone really enjoyed the music and thought Ted did a great job . And he got people up to sing that we thought wouldn’t get up , even Gail and myself . When our guests were leaving , they were telling us that it was the best party that they had been to in a long time and I would say that the entertainment was a good part of the reason. All we can say is EXCELLENT JOB TED !!!!

Dear Barry,

Jeromey and I and all the guests had an AMAZING time at the dinner/dance.  The DJ Jarvis was fantastic. 

Everyone I talked to loved the music and even if they didn't dance they were having fun listening and watching the other people dance (especially the groom's father...he's a crazy dancer).  Jarvis was also very accommodating.  We had him sitting at the side, kind of away from the dance floor which was in the middle of the room.  He said it was unusual but he made it work and it was exactly what I wanted.  He also was great at doing things on a moments notice.  He was very polite and took requests willingly.  I had the wedding of my dreams and you helped make that dream come true.  Thank you so much for doing this. 
I hope your wedding goes just as wonderful.

Hi Barry and Karyn:

Thanks so much for helping to make our night special.  We so enjoyed the music, dancing and karaoke.....I didn't know so many in our family were brave enough to sing......you sure know how to work the crowd, Barry.

And thank you for remembering the "last dance", it was a nice finish to the evening.

We hope you both enjoyed your evening and Happy New Year!  Phil and I had a few days relaxation and "fine dining" at Kingston's Fireside Inn after our wonderful party.

Dear Barry,

      Thanks for doing such a fabulous job with the music mix and the karaoke.  You even drew people from the next room to dance to your music.  Sorry I did not stay to tell you in person how great you were.  Do expect to hear from us for next year's party.  By then we should have many more people who would be interested in coming.
